Every UK adult retailer claims "discreet delivery". Few are willing to describe the parcel. This is what arrives at your door, what your card statement says, and what the courier card looks like — for BondageBox and the major chains.

Parcel-by-parcel: what arrives
Outer packaging
A plain brown corrugated cardboard outer carton. No logo, no graphic, no contents description on the label. The shipping label printed by Royal Mail or DPD shows your delivery address, the return address ("BBox Ltd, PO Box 228, Hitchin, Hertfordshire, SG4 0WW"), and the courier's tracking barcode. That's everything.
Inside the outer carton
Items in their manufacturer packaging. Most premium brands (LELO, We-Vibe, Doxy, Fun Factory) ship in subdued matte boxes. Some legacy brands still use illustrated boxes; we add a plain inner sleeve for these on request — write "discreet inner" in the order notes box at checkout.
The packing slip
One side of A5 paper, no logo, just an order number, line items, and a return-instructions URL. No marketing inserts, no catalogue, no promotional offers in the parcel itself.
Card statement
Your card statement, online banking summary, and any sub-account notification will read BBOX LTD — never the brand name. This descriptor is registered with our payment processors at the company level so it can't drift.
Failed delivery
Royal Mail's "Sorry we missed you" card, left if no-one's home, shows the company name BBox Ltd and the parcel reference. The parcel itself goes back to your local sorting office; you can collect with photo ID or arrange redelivery online. Royal Mail will not leave the parcel with a neighbour by default — the signature requirement protects your privacy.
Customer service
Email replies come from [email protected] with the subject line of the email you sent — replies do NOT prepend the brand name to subject lines. Phone calls (when staffed) are answered "BBox, customer care" — never the brand name. We will never identify the business when calling out unless you ask us to.

Discretion in the rest of the experience
- Email: order confirmation subject lines read "Order received · BB-2026-X1Y2Z3" — no brand name in the From or Subject for transactional mails. Marketing emails (newsletter) do say BondageBox because you opted in; you can unsubscribe with a single click in any of them.
- Returns: returns travel back to the same unmarked PO Box. The label only shows BBox Ltd. See the full returns policy.
- Browser history: bondagebox.co.uk is the URL — there's no avoiding that. Use private / incognito browsing if your device is shared.
- Cookies: a 1-year age-verification cookie sits in the browser. The age gate fires once and then doesn't re-prompt; the cookie's name (bb_age_verified) is the only identifying string in your cookie list.
Things we won't do
- Send unsolicited "you might also like" emails after a purchase. The order confirmation chain is the only mail you'll receive unless you've subscribed.
- Sell, share, or rent your email address to any third party.
- Ring you to "check on the order".
- Print branding on the outer carton, even subtly.
- List the contents on the customs declaration when shipping — even internationally we use generic "Personal effects" wording where regulations allow.
