A 6-metre silicone bondage cord from Rimba: a flexible black silicone cord designed as a soft alternative to traditional rope. The silicone is non-porous and easier to clean than jute or hemp; the 6-metre length is the standard working length for basic bondage ties.
Platinum-cure silicone construction, body-safe, non-porous, fully sterilisable. Softer against skin than fibre rope, with no friction-burn risk under fast pulling, but with less natural grip than jute or hemp (silicone slides on itself, so knots want backup turns).
Clean with hot soapy water and a body-safe toy cleaner after every use; boil for 3 minutes for full sterilisation between partners. Store coiled and away from sharp edges. As with any rope, keep safety scissors within arm's reach during use; the cardinal rule of bondage applies regardless of material.

Yes. every silicone product we stock is platinum-cure (medical-grade) silicone. Platinum-cure is body-safe, non-porous, phthalate-free and BPA-free under EU REACH regulations. Sterilisable in boiling water and dishwasher-safe top rack.
What lubricant should I use with Rimba Silicone Bondage Cord?
Water-based or hybrid lubricant only on silicone. Silicone-based lubricants chemically react with silicone toy surfaces over time, leaving a sticky residue and degrading the finish. Glycerin-free water-based lube is the universal recommendation, see lubricants.
