Frequently asked
- How do I measure my chest, waist and hips correctly?
- Use a soft fabric tape, snug but not tight. Chest is around the fullest part of your bust or chest. Waist is the narrowest point between rib cage and hip bone (roughly belly-button height). Hips are around the fullest part of your bum and hips, with feet together. Measure in cm against bare skin or thin clothing for accuracy.
- What if my measurements span two different sizes?
- Size up. Latex, leather and fetish wear is cut closer to the body than high street clothing and has very little stretch in most brands. Going up one size avoids breaking seams and the panic of a stuck zip; latex in particular cannot be let out after fitting.
- Why does the same size differ so much between brands?
- Three reasons. Fetish brands use four common European size templates (Orion International, Noir, Svenjoyment, Italian), and within each, cutters apply their own ease. UK 10 in The Late X is roughly UK 12 in Noir Handmade because Noir is hand-cut. Always check the brand chart, not the label letter.
- Is latex meant to be tight?
- Yes. Latex is designed to skim the body with no air gaps, that is what creates the second-skin look. It should be snug, not painful. If you cannot get a flat hand between the garment and your skin, size up; if the seams pull or the colour blanches when stretched, definitely size up.
- Does fetish wear run smaller than high street clothing?
- In general, yes. UK 10 on the high street is closer to UK 12 in most German fetish brands (Zado, Bad Kitty, Black Level). Measure your body in cm and use the chart, the label letter is unreliable across vendors.
- Can I return latex or fetish clothing that does not fit?
- Latex garments and other intimate clothing items can only be returned if unworn, with tags attached, and the hygiene seal intact. Check the returns policy on the listing before ordering. The size finder is the safer first step.
