What the parcel looks like
A plain brown corrugated box. No logos on the outside, no product description, no transparent windows. The exterior label reads BBox · Hitchin · Herts as the sender — never BondageBox, never anything that hints at the contents. From the curb, it looks exactly like every other parcel from a UK retailer.
Inside, the items themselves are packed in tissue or polywrap (paper-recyclable wherever possible). Any invoice or returns slip is folded inside the inner package, never attached to the outside.
What appears on your statement
Card and PayPal statements both show the trading name — 'BBox' — with no mention of bondage, sex toys, BondageBox, or anything category-revealing. The same descriptor appears on any refund, dispute, or chargeback. Customers reviewing their statement weeks later see a four-letter merchant they may not even remember signing up to.

Orders placed before 2pm Monday–Friday ship the same day. Orders placed after 2pm, on weekends, or on UK bank holidays ship the next working day.
Signature on delivery
Every parcel ships by a recorded, insured service. A signature is taken at the door — we don't allow "leave with neighbour" or doorstep drops. If you aren't in:
- Royal Mail holds the parcel at your local delivery office for seven days. A "Sorry we missed you" card is left, plus an attempt to redeliver on the next working day if you don't collect.
- DPD holds for five days at a local DPD Pickup point (often a convenience store or post office). DPD also lets you reroute mid-transit via their app — useful if your day shifts.
Tracking
The moment the carrier collects from us, a tracking link lands in the email address on the order. The email is from [email protected]; the subject reads simply "Your order is on its way" with no further detail. The body has the tracking number and a link, nothing more.
International orders
We ship to Southern Ireland, the EU (post-Brexit, customs paperwork included), and most of the rest of the world. Customs duties and import VAT are the recipient's responsibility — we cannot pre-pay these or estimate them at checkout, since rates vary by destination country and item HS code.
A small list of destinations we cannot ship to for legal or carrier-policy reasons: Russia, Belarus, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and a handful of US states with restrictive obscenity statutes. The cart will block these at checkout.
If something goes wrong
If your parcel hasn't moved on the tracking for more than three working days, or if it's marked delivered but you don't have it, write to [email protected] with your order number. We have direct lines into the Royal Mail and DPD trace teams and can usually get a parcel located or claim-replaced within two working days.
The only person who knows what's in the box is the person who opens it. That's the whole policy in one line.
