Sizing & Fit

Sizing in this category is famously inconsistent across brands. Where we can, we publish exact measurements on the product page rather than rely on ambiguous size labels.

Cuffs, collars, restraints

Measure with a soft tape, holding it firm but not tight against the skin. Add 1–2 cm of comfort space, restraints that fit perfectly at rest cut in once weight is on them.

ItemWhere to measureTypical range
Wrist cuffsAround the narrowest part of the wrist14–22 cm (adjustable)
Ankle cuffsAround the narrowest part above the bone18–28 cm (adjustable)
CollarsAround the base of the neck, where a shirt collar sits30–48 cm (mostly adjustable; some posture collars fixed)
Thigh / arm bandsAround the broadest point of the thigh or upper arm40–60 cm (adjustable)

Most adjustable cuffs span the full range above on roller buckles or D-rings. Buckled leather pieces tend to size in 2 cm increments, check the product page for which buckle position is the centre and adjust expectations from there.

Latex apparel

Latex doesn't stretch the way fabric does, it grips. Sizing tends to run UK-true at the dress size on the label, with the chest measurement being the limiting factor on tops and the hip on bottoms. Each product page lists the brand's chart against UK sizes; if you fall between two sizes, take the larger.

Latex pieces also have a "comfortable range" and an "absolute maximum". Comfortable is what we publish. Absolute maximum, on most pieces, is the published number plus 2–3 cm, but at that point the gloss looks stretched. If you're at the edge, write to us and we'll check the specific piece.

Leather apparel

Full-grain leather doesn't stretch in the way latex does, but it does soften with wear. Bra sets, harnesses, and corsets buckle to size, published in chest / waist circumference. Allow 2 cm of comfort over rest measurement.

Cock rings, cages, plugs

These need careful sizing, too tight is uncomfortable or unsafe, too loose defeats the purpose.

  • Cock rings: measure the circumference of the base of the penis when flaccid, divide by π to get diameter. Add 1–3 mm for comfort. Most rings sit at 38–48 mm internal diameter.
  • Chastity cages: ring sizing first (as cock rings above), then cage length. Cage internal length should match flaccid length within 5 mm, too long allows movement; too short prevents normal urination.
  • Anal plugs: start under 3 cm diameter for beginners; intermediate work is 3–4 cm; advanced 4 cm+. Length matters less than diameter unless you're specifically training depth.

Lingerie, bodysuits, stockings

Brand-specific. Each product page lists the brand's chart against UK sizes. As a rough rule of thumb: continental brands (Cottelli, Obsessive, Passion) run slightly smaller than UK labels; American brands (Leg Avenue, Music Legs) run true to label or slightly larger.

Bondage furniture

Made-to-measure. Three measurements get most pieces right:

  1. Floor-to-target height, the height at which restraints should sit on the user. For a wall-mounted cross, this is hand height; for a spanking bench, this is the bottom of the chest.
  2. Total span, wrist-to-wrist (extended) and ankle-to-ankle (at natural width).
  3. Wall-to-edge depth, how far the piece can project into the room without obstructing doors or windows.

We'll guide you through the rest in the commission conversation.
