Rouge Garments Ankle Cuffs Padded Red

A pair of padded ankle cuffs in red full-grain leather from Rouge Garments, the long-standing UK leather workshop. The same construction as the matching red wrist cuffs in the line, sized longer at 13 inches across to fit the ankle: padded between two leather layers, single welded D-ring, buckle fastening with multiple holes for fine adjustment.

The padding runs the full length of the band so the cuff distributes load evenly across the ankle rather than concentrating it at the edges, which matters more on an ankle than a wrist because of the bony prominences. Set the fit so two fingers slide between the cuff and the ankle (the standard safe spacing) and check circulation periodically through any sustained scene.

Care is the standard leather routine: wipe down after wear, condition lightly with leather balm two or three times a year, store flat. Pair with the matching red wrist cuffs for a full restraint set.
