Rouge Garments Wrist Cuffs Padded Purple

A pair of padded wrist cuffs in full purple leather from Rouge Garments, the long-standing UK leather workshop. Where the trimmed versions of this cuff use black leather with purple piping, this is the solid purple cut: padded between two layers of full-grain leather, finished cleanly with a single welded D-ring for a tether, lead or carabiner.

The cuff carries the workshop standard: a buckle fastening with multiple holes for fine adjustment to wrist width (set so two fingers fit between cuff and wrist), bonded edge stitching, hardware soldered closed rather than split. The 11-inch band distributes load evenly across the wrist without digging in at the edges, which is the comfort difference between padded leather and the cheaper webbing alternatives.

Standard leather care applies: wipe down after wear, condition lightly with leather balm two or three times a year, store flat. A pair like this outlasts the rest of a typical beginner kit.
