Rouge Garments Wrist Cuffs Padded Red

A pair of padded wrist cuffs in red full-grain leather from Rouge Garments, the long-standing UK leather workshop. The padding sits between two leather layers and runs the full length of the band, so the cuff distributes load comfortably across the wrist rather than concentrating it at the edges; a single welded D-ring takes a tether, lead or carabiner.

The construction is the workshop standard: a buckle fastening with multiple holes for fine adjustment to wrist width (set so two fingers slide between the cuff and the wrist, the standard safe fit), bonded edge stitching, hardware soldered closed rather than split. At 11 inches across, the band sits cleanly without bunching across the back of the hand.

Care is the standard leather routine: wipe down with a soft cloth after wear, condition lightly with a leather balm two or three times a year, store flat. Treated this way a cuff pair from Rouge lasts decades.
