Will the package look like anything? Will my partner — or housemate, or family — see something on the bank statement? What if I order the wrong thing? And, the quietest of them: am I being silly for worrying about any of this?

You aren't. Everyone asks. Below, in order: how we handle each, what the box looks like, and three first orders that almost never go wrong.

What happens after you click order.

  1. i.

    Order placed

    Your card statement reads "BBox" — never BondageBox. Same on PayPal. An order confirmation lands in your inbox within a minute, also from "BBox".

  2. ii.

    Same-day dispatch

    Orders placed before 2pm on a weekday usually ship that day from our Hertfordshire warehouse. You get a tracking link the moment Royal Mail or DPD collects.

  3. iii.

    Plain brown box

    Outside: a brown corrugated box, no logos, no product description, no indication of contents. Sender label: "BBox, Hitchin". It looks like any other parcel.

  4. iv.

    Signature on delivery

    All goods ship recorded and insured — a signature is taken at delivery. If you are not in, the parcel waits at the local Royal Mail depot for 7 days, or DPD for 5.

Will the delivery box be branded? +

No. All parcels ship in plain unmarked brown boxes. There is no BondageBox logo, no product description, and no indication of what is inside. The sender label reads "BBox" — the trading company name — not BondageBox.

What will appear on my bank statement? +

Card and PayPal statements both show "BBox" — no mention of bondage, sex toys, or BondageBox. This is intentional and applies to every order regardless of size.

Will the postman know what I have ordered? +

No. The exterior of the box gives no indication of the contents — it is identical to any other small parcel from a UK retailer. A signature is required at delivery, but the courier only sees an unmarked box from "BBox".

I have never bought anything like this before. Where should I start? +

What if I order the wrong thing? +

Unused, sealed items can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. Opened intimate products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, but every product on the site has a 1-year warranty if it fails to work. If you are gifting and uncertain of taste, send a gift card instead — they get to choose.

How long does delivery take? +

UK Royal Mail Tracked: 1–3 working days. DPD Courier: 1–2 working days. Order before 2pm on a weekday and we usually dispatch the same day.
