The verdict
Buy an under-bed system if you have any divan, sofa-bed, or post-less frame: it is the only option that works. Buy bedpost ties only if you have a confirmed four-poster, brass, or solid-headboard frame with anchor points. Under-bed systems also fit four-posters, so they are the broader-compatibility default.
