The Rimba Bristol Bondage Rope, 5 Metres: hemp bondage rope, 5 metres in length, in the natural undyed colour. Designed for shibari (Japanese rope-knotting art) and other rope-bondage practices.
Natural hemp construction at 170g; standard 6-8mm diameter for shibari ties.
Pre-condition the rope before serious use (run it through your hands several times to work out kinks; some users boil-and-dry once to set the lay). Hemp is firmer than cotton: more grip, holds knots better, but more likely to leave rope-burn marks during quick releases. Inspect for fraying before each use; replace any rope showing visible wear. Hand-wash cool with mild detergent; lay flat to dry, never tumble-dry (heat shrinks hemp).
