Rouge Garments Purple Leather Flogger

A leather flogger in purple from Rouge Garments, the long-standing UK leather workshop. 21 inches overall (the line's mid-size), with multiple supple leather tails attached to a solid grip handle. The mid-size sits between the small wooden-handled and the large 26-inch floggers in the Rouge range: enough tail weight for proper thud, short enough to swing in a normal room without hitting the ceiling.

Floggers sit between sting and thud on the impact spectrum: heavier than a riding crop, broader than a paddle, often described as "controlled rain". They are forgiving for newer hands because the multiple tails distribute force; strike the fleshy upper-outer buttocks and upper back, avoid kidneys, tailbone and joints.

Standard leather care: wipe down after wear, condition tails with leather balm two or three times a year, store hung rather than flat (so the tails don't take a set).
