The Rimba Round Oval Paddle: a genuine-leather oval-shaped paddle with rivet-decorated handle. Handle 6 by 2 inches; paddle face 8 by 5.5 inches. The oval shape distributes strike force across a larger area than rectangular paddles of similar weight.

Genuine leather construction with set-in metal rivets at 230g.

Strike the fleshy upper-outer buttocks only; avoid kidneys, tailbone, spine, and joints. The oval shape is more forgiving for new users than narrower paddles. Standard leather care: wipe down after wear, condition with leather balm two or three times a year. Avoid balm contact with the rivet-back leather.

Yes. every leather product we stock is full-grain or top-grain leather (no bonded leather, which delaminates within months). Lining where present is body-contact safe. EU REACH compliant.

What lubricant should I use with Round Oval Paddle?

Avoid all lubricant contact with leather, even water-based lube can stain and silicone-based lube absorbs into the grain. Apply any lube directly to body, not to the leather surface.
