Race Play.

A controversial scene format that uses race-based vocabulary or imagery as part of the scene fiction. Race play is heavily contested within UK BDSM communities: practitioners cite it as a legitimate consensual scene format if both partners agree, while critics note the imagery cannot be separated from real-world racism even within negotiated scene contexts. The UK community standard is heavy pre-negotiation and frequent check-ins; many community spaces explicitly do not host race-play content.
