What is the maximum safe wear time?

20 minutes continuous; longer with the hollow-ball or open-mouth (ring gag) options. Remove on jaw fatigue, drooling that becomes uncomfortable, or any sign of breathing difficulty. Never use a gag on someone with active reflux, anyone unable to clear their own airway, or anyone alone in a room.

What materials are safe in the mouth?

Platinum-cure silicone only for in-mouth use. Avoid jelly rubber and TPE blends; the porous surfaces hold bacteria. Leather and PU straps are fine on the outside-mouth components; only the ball itself enters the mouth.
