Rouge Garments Purple Suede Flogger

A suede flogger in purple from Rouge Garments, the long-standing UK leather workshop. 27 inches overall, with multiple supple suede tails. Suede is the soft napped underside of a split hide rather than full-grain leather: it gives a lighter, more diffuse strike than the bonded leather floggers in the same range, the gentlest tail material in the line.

Suede floggers sit toward the soft end of the impact spectrum, often the recommended starting flogger for couples new to impact play. The multi-tail design distributes force across a wider area than any single-tail crop or whip; strike the fleshy upper-outer buttocks and upper back, avoid kidneys, tailbone and joints.

Suede needs gentler care than full-grain leather: brush the nap rather than wiping, never condition with leather balm (it darkens suede permanently), store hung in a cotton bag rather than flat or pressed.
